Faculty of Education - Hasahesa - Department of Sports Activities

The Department of Sports Activities at the College was established in December 2007. It is a vital department within the College of Education, contributing to the implementation of extracurricular sports activities in addition to academic programs.

Vision:

The Department of Sports Activities aspires to be a distinguished and leading department in the field of physical education at the university and in Sudan as a whole.

Mission:
To contribute to the development and advancement of sports activities through the application of a sound scientific methodology in this field at all local, regional, and international levels.

Community Impact:
The department participated in community activities implemented by the College of Education. It also actively contributed to the implementation of training courses conducted by the College of Education for secondary school teachers and participated in all activities implemented by the Deanship of Student Affairs at the university, the college, and the wider community.

Academic Contributions:
The department actively participated in developing a comprehensive curriculum for the Bachelor of Physical Education in collaboration with the Department of Educational Activities at the College of Education, Hantoub. This curriculum aims to admit students to the Department of Physical Education, qualifying them to work in educational institutions both within and outside Sudan, thus emphasizing the importance of physical education in educational institutions and society as a whole.
