Department of Crop Science
Vision:
Community-oriented guidance of agricultural education to achieve self-sufficiency in crop production and to conduct research aimed at improving production and solving problems.
Mission:
To qualify graduates with high competencies in the fields of crop sciences to participate in managing and improving crop production systems in Sudan.
Objectives:
Increase the production of field and forage crops.
Improve rangeland management through the efficient utilization of crop residues.
Enhance crop quality through breeding programs and the study of crop physiology.
Develop the capabilities of faculty members and students.
Train technical staff and laboratory assistants
