University of Gezira – Excellence and leadership in total quality and continuous development across all standards, areas, and activities at the level of organizational structures, leadership methods, strategic planning, and material, human, and technical resources. 

To my colleagues, faculty members, students, all staff at the University of Gezira, and all visitors to the Dean’s website, we welcome  all of you to visit this web site, which we hope will be a window for communication and knowledge, and a platform that reflects the concepts of total quality, self-evaluation, internal and external evaluation, and internal and external accreditation, ultimately helping improve the ranking and classification of the University of Gezira among Arab and global universities. 

The Deanship was established by a resolution of the Senate Council with its basic system approved at the )234^th( Council meeting on March 26, 2023. 

The first dean (Prof. Dr. Omar Hassan Mohammed Hassan Arabi) was appointed just before the outbreak of the war. The Quality Administration office was originally set up according to the (Senate No 191) in the Year 2011, led by the first head, Professor Moatasem Ahmed Abdelmawla, followed by two other directors. That office continued until 2019, when it was completely dissolved.
