Responsibilities of the Deanship Council

Based on the article (2/27) of the University of Gezira Council of the Deanship board is responsible for the following:

1- Preparing the general policies for the Deanship

2- Approving the plans concerning the implementation of quality assurance and accreditation programs

3- Organizing and monitoring the quality issues at the university

4- Recommending establishment of departments and units at the Deanship

5- Issuing the organizational regulations for running the deanship work

6- Approving the regular reports about the administrative and financial performance of the Deanship

7- Approving the annual budget

8- Preparing the financial regulation

9- Forming the committees that help the council to perform his work

10- Recommending to the senate modifications of the regulations that organize the deanship work

11- Raising the recommendation to the Senate through the Senate Committees

12- Considering any matter related to the Deanship referred to him by the Senate or the council chairperson

13- Having any other powers granted to him by the university regulations and laws.
