Continuous development, improvement, and quality assurance in all areas of the university through the application of comprehensive quality standards to achieve the university’s mission and strategic objectives
Objectives
Without prejudice to the authorities and functions of the University Council, the senate and the councils of colleges and institutes, the Deanship of Quality Assurance and Accreditation has the following objectives:
1- Contributes to achieving the university goals related to upgrading the academic level of university colleges by applying standard quality assurance criteria.
2- Consolidate and disseminate the culture of quality and development among university staff and activate procedures for its implementations
3- Provide data and statistics on university institutions to build an integrated information system for performance evaluation and quality assurance at the University.
4- Provide sustainable quality programs to improve performance in all areas of the University work and establish the system that determines how work is carried out with the best efficiency and quality
5- Provide consultation and support to quality units in colleges, institutes and administrative departments in all matters related to quality issues and their applications
6- Contributing to the preparation and readiness of the university departments, colleges, institutes, and administrative units to meet the requirements of locally and internationally accredited accreditation bodies
7- Contributing to the development of the university strategic plan and monitoring the implementation of its phased plans
8- Developing and improving the administrative and leadership capacities of university staff to contribute scientifically and practically to community development and to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of academic and administrative performance in all university units
9- Contributing to enhance the university reputation by participating in the development of plans and programs for nominating the university and its staff for national and international excellence awards and supporting creative initiatives within the university in coordination with various entities
10- Documenting information related to university’s history, achievements, activities, and preserving evidences, and proofs thereof
