About
The Secretariat of Academic Affairs is responsible for organizing and developing academic affairs at the university and serves as the primary arm for implementing the university’s academic objectives and overseeing its academic system and the decisions of its various academic councils. The Secretariat’s future vision is to achieve academic stability and strive for international standards in level, content, and practice by fulfilling its mission of enhancing academic programs, teaching methods and technologies, student registration, and the monitoring of their academic affairs according to quality standards.
Objectives:
1. Organizing and coordinating admission and registration procedures.
2. Monitoring, approving, and archiving results.
3. Issuing academic certificates for undergraduate, technical diploma, and distance learning students.
4. Developing and updating curricula, teaching methods and techniques, and assessment tools.
5. Activating and developing academic regulations to ensure the quality of college performance.
6. Monitoring academic activity and the academic environment.
7. Organizing and monitoring the qualification, training, and promotion of faculty members.
8. Supervising the training of technicians.
9. Establishing, strengthening, and developing academic relationships with universities and academic institutions at the national, regional, and international levels.
10. Promoting the concept of quality, evaluation, and continuous performance improvement.
11. Monitoring the implementation of faculty council decisions.
