Cooperation Between the University of Gezira and the International Organization for Sustainable Development

The University of Gezira and the International Organization for Sustainable Development have agreed to strengthen fields of cooperation in fields and issues of common interest and to define a framework between the two parties to facilitate future interactions. The Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Mohammad Taha Yousif, signed on behalf of the University, while signed on behalf of the organization Prof. Allam Al-Nur, with the presence of the Director of the University’s External Relations and International Cooperation Department Dr. Ali Muddather. The agreement stated on the conduct of joint research projects, that there should be a joint supervisor for post graduate students and to facilitate the exchange of students, employees, scientists and capacity building programs. In addition to that participation in the joint international conference and the Research Consortium, and the holding of training and capacity-building workshops on the main factors affecting human development and capacity building in Sudan and Africa. The agreement includes launching various initiatives to encourage the global participation of children and youth, and the participation of international activists for the empowerment of women in various countries, especially the Middle East and North Africa region. The agreement includes helping the University set up international magazines and a series of books, helping to develop the website and digital marketing platforms, and providing various programs using the latest technologies and Internet platforms to enhance the chances of more students joining the University. Prof Taha confirmed that this step will open many horizons for extended cooperation between the two sides, while Prof. Allam welcomed with the cooperation with theaf University of Gezira and he expressed his readiness to develop the agreement in the interest of both sides.
