The Faculty of Economics and Rural Development at University of Gezira announced about the starting of the eighth cultural scientific week on Sunday, the fourth of November and continuing until the eighth of it in the University Campus in El Nishishiba, with the honoring of the University’s Vice Chancellor Prof. Mohamed El Sanousi Mohamed and a number of leaders inside and outside the University and the week includes exhibitions, numerous students participations and Symposiums. The chairman of the committee Dr. Abu Sufyan Mohammed Haj Al-Bashir, called on the meeting of the Committee of the week, which he
ld its meeting on Sunday 21th of October to the need to tighten scientific and cultural programs for the scientific week and expand students participation. Explaining that the week will take the scientific form in all its presented programs. The week will allocate space for the scientific publications of the teaching staff, and information about the first of the batches in the faculty, indicating that the committee has sent a number of invitations to institutions to participate in exhibitions such as the Bank of Sudan, the drug police, wildlife police, flower exhibition and traffic police. The Chairman of the scientific committee, seminars and scientific programs Prof. Moatasem Ahmed Abdel Mawla refers to held a number of seminars during the week. He pointed to the seminar on the reality of industry and investment in Sudan, a seminar on the liquidity shortage and proposed solutions, and another symposium about the sport management in Sudan.
