The Faculty of Pharmacy in cooperation with the Office of the Islamic Waqf and the locality of East Gezira honored the student, Sahar Imad Omar Al Hadi, batch (36) for achieving a cumulative rate of (3.88) and its was consider the highest degree since the establishment of the faculty and was handed over the award of the late Dr. / Ahmed Mohammed Ali El Waqfiyah for graduates of the Faculty of Pharmacy at its fourth session. Deputy Director of Islamic Awqaf office in the east Gezira , Othman El-Imam stressed that the importance of the Waqf for its works to serve the community, and said that this award is awarding annually to the student excellence and distinguished of students of the Faculty of Pharmacy since its inception in 2003. He also pointed out that the prize will be developed with a three-dimensional plan, consisting of forming council to Organize the award and the establishment of rules, regulations and conditions to govern them, as well as the establishment of the construction of a huge property in the city of Rufaa to increase the revenues of the prize, and there will be a companion program (week Balsam) will be distributed to patients with diabetes, kidney and cancer, and will send a therapeutic convoys for all localities of the Gezira state. Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Inas Mohamed Al – Awad considered that the Delivery of the prize on the day that marks the International Day of Pharmacy is a Rabbinic order , and urged the students of the faculty to exert more effort to receive this award. Dr. Mohamed El-Amin Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, representative of the University administration, said that this work is at the heart of the educational process, calling on all sectors of the University to apply this idea.
