Starting on the 12th of August, in the presence of a group of scientists and researchers from inside and outside Sudan, the International Conference on Communications, Computerization, Control and Electronics Engineering (ICCEEE18) which organized by University of Gezira, and It continues to three days at the Corinthia Hotel in Khartoum. The Vice Chancellor of the University of Gezira prof. Mohamed El- Sanousi Mohamed said in the opening session of the conference “we are proud to host the conference and our partnership with ICCCEEE in recognition of the importance of science and scientists in the march of the development , Pointing out that it has remained to provide scientists to the community and a lot of specialized human cadres and scientists as well as its contribution to the development of engineering sciences, the engineering of Electronics, Communications and Computing mainly, he expressed his hope that the outcomes of the conference will contribute greatly to the development of Sudan and achieve development and prosperity, pointing out that the conference is gaining importance because it is a global conference involving a large number of scientists and researchers from outside Sudan and within it. He stressing to work to implement the outputs of the conference and put them on the ground. Prof. Sharif Fadl Babiker, Chairman of the Association of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, said that the Association is responsible for all regulations and work systems, thanking the Ministries of Higher Education and Communications for contributing and assisting in all issues of the Association. He pointed out to the role of the Association in holding a number of conferences in Sudan, In addition to publishing 400 scientific papers published internationally adding that the helding of the conference and discussion of this number of papers has a significant impact in the society. Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Conference Dr. Yousef El Hadi, said that the submission of scientific research of the Conference began in 2017 and 333 papers were submitted and 149 were accepted for presentation in the presence of arbitrators inside and outside the conference and attended the conference participants from 300 countries in addition to the host country Sudan, adding that the conference discussed a number of papers in the topics of computer science , Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering. Biomedical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Networks Applied Mathematics and Computing, Control Systems and Communication Engineering.
