On Saturday, July 14th, 2018, the University of Gezira submitted its applications to universities, faculties and institutes with a total of 5 centres. The number of those who pulled out the submission application forms reached 666 students. The heads of the centres expected to increase the number of applicants during the next two days.
Head of Admission Section at the University’s Scientific Affairs Secretariat, Uz. Muslim Fadl al-Marji explained that the University has opened five centres, namely the centre of the Faculty of Engineering and two informatics centres in Al-Nisheishiba and Al-Razi campuses. In addition to a centre at the Faculty of Computer and a centre at the Scientific Affairs. He pointed out that the University learned to prepare all the available means to facilitate the submissions of students and to provide service to them, disclosing that on the first day of the submission, there were 300 forms pulled out and 45 data were entered in the Centre of Scientific Affairs Secretariat.
The Head of the Training Section at the Centre of Computer and Information Technology, Engr. Suad Osman Abdul-Sayed, who is in charge of the e-submission, said that the number of 112 submission forms were pulled out, while the entry was 20 forms. The applicants pulled out 250 submission application forms from a centre the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. The applicants at the Faculty of Mathematical and Computer Sciences pulled out 6 forms, 4 of which completed the procedures.
