The graduates of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Al-Kamlin, batches 17th/38th, held their first assembly on the fifth of February 2018, under the slogan: (Loyalty to the people of the bestowal), the assembly aimed to launching an Association that could gather all graduates of the Faculty inside and outside the Sudan, also to commemorate the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Al-Kamlin, specially it going to be drained in 2020 after the graduation of its last batch (Batch 38th). The future strategy of this assembly is to build a hall in the Campus and to script an immortal list for the deans of the Faculty since its establishment until the last Dean.
This assembly was attended by a large number of graduates and students of the Faculty of Educational Sciences of various batches came from different parts of the country at various social and professional levels, and which headed by Dr Homaida Mohammed Ahmed, who was a student in the batch 17th, now he is the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, the Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Dr Rabih Mohamed Noor, the Dean of Graduate Studies, Prof. Mohammed Al-Hassan Omar, Heads of departments, and a number of teaching staff, besides students of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. The gathering is an open day divided into a day party.
Dr. Homaida, who opened the speech as he was a student at the Faculty, spoke out about the activities of the students in the batch 17th, then spoke Dr. Rabih who narrated the story of the Deanship until it reached him. The speech of Prof. Mohammed Al-Hassan Omar, represented an open book that contained the history of founding the Faculty of Educational Sciences in 1994. Also, the Supervisor of Students’ Affairs in the Campus spoke in this occasion, the ceremony continued with the participation of student creations.
At the evening party, the workers who worked in the Faculty since the establishment of which are the University guards, environmentalists and female workers were honoured. As well as the deans of the two faculties, the supervisor of the students and some of teaching staff who were helped to make this assembly successful. The party was continued by Al-Kamlin singer; Mohammed Al Rahima.
