Goals
1. To advance scientific research, particularly in areas related to industry, agriculture, health, and the environment.
2. To train researchers and graduate students in analytical chemistry, biotechnology, tissue culture, and related fields.
3. To assist in implementing clearly defined research programs submitted by colleges and institutes across various disciplines.
4. To enable researchers, trainees, and students to conduct research, tests, and analyses that serve various scientific disciplines both within and outside the university.
5. To maintain and repair scientific equipment and provide training for technicians.
6. To serve the community by conducting studies, analyses, and tests.
7. To provide scientific consultations to university laboratories and public and private institutions and organizations.
8. The laboratories strive to be centers of excellence, operating according to international standards and serving as reference laboratories.
9. To strengthen ties and collaborative relationships with research centers and laboratories both within and outside Sudan.
Contributing to the economic and social development of Sudan by working to provide a safe scientific environment for conducting advanced research and analysis, providing consultations to advance scientific research, promote postgraduate studies, raise the capabilities of researchers, and enable the university to produce knowledge to provide scientific solutions to the country’s problems.
