Introduction
The Department of Medical Microbiology is one of the core pillars of the Faculty of Medical Laboratory Sciences. It plays a pivotal role in preparing scientifically and professionally qualified cadres, supporting scientific research, and serving the community in accordance with quality standards and academic accreditation. The department also actively contributes to infection control programs and the prevention of infectious diseases by training qualified personnel equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to accurately diagnose infectious agents, implement biosafety standards, and practice infection control within laboratories and healthcare institutions.
