The program of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Chemical Technology has been designed to qualify students in chemical engineering. The students study chemical engineering processes (design and control), industrial processes, plant design, various other aspects of chemical engineering, basic chemistry and basic engineering sciences. The department  focuses on integrating theoretical knowledge with practical reality through industrial training and scientific visits. The program fosters the spirit of research and learning through graduation projects and seminars, and aims to provide  highly qualified chemical engineers who contribute to industrial and economic progress. The students are trained to solve technical problems. The program also encourages students to keep pace with scientific and technical advancement, and its applications to solve the problems facing industries. It also enables graduates to contribute to the advancement and development of the profession.
