Researchers from the Institute of Islamisation Knowledge (IMAM), participated in the conference of “Modern Literary Studies in the Miracles of the Holy Quran and its Eloquence: Quranic Stories as a Model“, which held by the College of Arts, Department of Arabic Language, Tafila Technical University, Jordan, within the period; April 3-6. Under the patronage of the President of the University, Prof. Mohammed Khair Al-Hourani.
The delegation of the Institute included the Associated Professor, Dr. Sabah Al-Khidr, who presented a scientific paper which showed the miraculousness of the Holy Quran and its eloquence by clarifying the image of women in the Quranic stories on the level of faith, social and personal status within the family. She also addressed the leading role of women in the era of the previous prophets and the era of the Prophet Mohammed (pbuh), to learn the lesson and exhortations.
Dr. Mohammed Amin Bella presented a scientific paper on the dialogue between Moses and Khidr in Surat Al-Kahf, indicating the miraculous aspect of the Holy Quran.
The conference was attended by more than 60 researchers from all over the Arab world and witnessed the presentation of about 45 scientific papers for three days in which the participants discussed dialogue literature in Quranic stories, the image of women in Quranic stories, building characters in Quranic stories, the place and its symbolic significance in Quranic narratives, the symbolism in Quranic stories, and the recitation of Quranic stories in the books of Tafseer.
A range of extracurricular activities, and cultural and literary dialogues were held on the sidelines of the conference.
