The Canadian Ambassador to Sudan and the Foreign Ministry Delegation Arrive to the University of Gezira

The Canadian Ambassador to Sudan Mr. “Adrian Norfolk” , arrived to the University of Gezira this morning on a one-day visit during which he will discuss strengthening areas of joint cooperation and developing relations between the two sides. The Canadian ambassador was accompanied by a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that included its political advisor, Ambassador Abdullah Al-Fadil Al-Mahdi, and Director of International Cooperation, Ambassador Ibrahim Bushra Muhammad Ali. The Canadian Embassy in Khartoum, welcomed the extension of bridges of cooperation with University of Gezira.  An envoy from the Sudanese Foreign Ministry transferred  to the University administration in the earlier time that the Canadian ambassador welcomed the holding of a joint consultation session to establish and follow up an extended projects. The visit includes an introductory presentation on the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, a visit to the laboratories of Muhammad Obaid Al Mubarak, the Agricultural Engineering Workshop, the University farm, the National Oilseed Processing Research Institute “Nobri”, The Abu Haraz farm and the Banana farm in Hantoub, in addition to a visit to the Sudanese-Canadian project in El Magarba and El Danegaila.
