The Faculty of Pharmacy at University of Gezira, held a seminar entitled “Prospects of education and pharmaceutical vocational training ” on the first of August through a group of Sudanese researchers in collaboration with the Faculty of Pharmacy at University of Gezira and the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa at the building of the faculty at Al- Razi campus and with the participation of the faculties of pharmacy in the world. The seminar aims to study the status of pharmaceutical education and the profession of pharmacy. Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Inas Mohamed Ahmed explained that there are new methods of teaching the pharmaceutical education distinguished the Faculty of Pharmacy at University of Gezira only by introducing the new curriculum directed towards clinical practices in addition to the old approach in pharmaceutical education, which was directed towards pharmaceutical products. Pointing out that (36) students of the next batches at the faculty will be studied in ways that are innovative and developed using modern technologies. It is worth mentioning that the presentation was made by Prof. Mohammed Awadallah and Dr. Sara Hider, University of Khartoum, Prof. Mirghani Abdulrahman Yousef University of Gezira, Dr. Farsia, and Dr. Farshia, University of Kwazuluatal, South Africa.
