The preparatory meeting for the Food Safety Conference was held at the Islamisation of Knowledge Institute (IMAM) in Khartoum. The Deputy Vice Chancellor, Dr. Mohd Babiker Al-Awad was chaired the preparatory committee.
Dr. Mohammed Babiker Al-Awad said that the current situation of food safety should be diagnosed as an opportunity to reform consumer behaviour in Sudan. He expressed his happiness with the group of experts from within Sudan, announcing the approval of the Advisory Council for Human Rights at the Presidency for its participation in the conference.
During the meeting, the conference’s axes were identified, the subcommittees were named, the media plan was emphatically set, and an exhibition accompanying the conference was confirmed.
