Activated Workshop of Dialogue on the Challenges of Establishing Religion in Contemporary Societies

At the Complex of Islamic Fiqh Hall, in Khartoum, was held a workshop on the “Challenges of Establishing Religion in Contemporary Societies‘. The workshop was organized by the Institute of Islamisation of Knowledge(IMAM).

The workshop called for re-linking and achieving the interaction between the necessary faculties of religion to build a monotheistic science that achieves faith in the heart and good work in the land, and producing specialized sciences with mature methodological tools that enable researcher in different branches of science to go directly to social reality and tackle its problems.

And stressed the need to assign religion to those who rule the social sites from the perspective of monotheistic cognition, which enable them from the religious example. Considering the relationship between the three main variables of the model on which the platform is based on monotheism, faith in God, and good work.

It also concluded that it is important to adopt an applicable model for the unification of the components of the Tawheed Society, which will be shared by a team of experts and researchers. The public domain of the platforms should be to apply the concepts, principles and values of religion into reality through existing systems.

In addition, the workshop concluded that it was necessary to define the features of the religious example, methodology to apply them on the social reality systems, and to pay attention to the specific practical aspects of conducting platforms in terms of periodicity, venue, how to balance the regularity of the sessions and the depth of the treatments. To identify each platform priorities and plan of action, and taking into account the integration between the scholars and the people of experience.

The platforms of dialogue of cognition comes through IMAM, as a systematic attempt to re-link, after the separation of the interaction between the necessary faculties of religion within a framework of the project of the Institute of Knowledge to build a monotheistic science that achieves faith in the heart and good work in the land.

The combination of researchers who are interested in the issue of Islamisation of knowledge and those who are in charge of social reality that committed to the Islamic vision, should have to give a hand of help to the two parties to have benefits from their accumulated experience.

These platforms are in compliance with the recommendations of the Second Conference on Sharia and Ijtihad which organized by the Institute of Islamisation of Knowledge in May 2016, which focused on the challenges of applying Sharia and establishing religion in contemporary societies.

The workshop has witnessed the release of a paper on the platforms of dialogues of knowledge, which was on the challenges of applying religion in contemporary societies: The motivations and commitments of IMAM, which presented by the Founding Dean, Prof. Mohd Hassan Breimah.
