The National Institute of Horticultural Exports and the Sudanese Center for Sterilization of Production Gardener, signed a joint cooperation agreement, including the cultivation of two feddans of melon and okra, for the purpose of exportation, as an experiment to improve horticultural exports by providing production inputs by the Center. This step came in the context of the program of scientific training for the training course which organized by the professional Union of Agricultural Engineers in the State of Gezira in cooperation with the National Institute of Horticultural at University of Gezira.
The learners examined the stages of sterilization exports and quality control at the Sudanese Center for sterilization of Exports in Khartoum. The learners also received a training programs at the Banana Farm in Hantoub. This training course encourages work in the framework of development, rehabilitation and improvement of skills and individual competencies.
